Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes

A mellow garlicky flavour makes these mashed potatoes the perfect complement to roast chicken or turkey.

All You Need

  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL) olive oil
  • 1 head garlic
  • 1/4 tsp (1 mL) Club House Nutmeg Ground
  • 2 cups (500 mL) prepared mashed potatoes


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Cut off the top 1/4-inch of the garlic to expose the cloves. Place garlic on a piece of aluminum foil. Drizzle with oil and sprinkle with nutmeg. Wrap tightly in foil.

  2. Bake 1 hour or until garlic is soft. Cool slightly before unwrapping. Squeeze roasted garlic from skin.

  3. Stir 1 tablespoon of the roasted garlic into hot prepared mashed potatoes.
