Blackened Chicken with Mango Relish

The chicken for this dish can also be grilled on the BBQ after seasoning. The mango relish brings a fresh citrus taste to the spicy Cajun flavour.

All You Need

  • 3 tbsp (45 mL) Club House Cajun Signature Blend
  • 1 lb (500 g) boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) ¼ in (0.5 cm) diced mango
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) each ¼ in (0.5 cm) diced red onion and green pepper
  • 1/4 tsp (1 mL) Club House Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) chopped fresh cilantro
  • juice of ½ lime


  1. Rub chicken breast with seasoning. Place in preheated oven-proof skillet over medium-high heat without oil. Brown 2 minutes per side. Bake in preheated 400°F (200°C) oven 7 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Remove from oven.

  2. In medium bowl, combine remaining ingredients.

  3. Slice chicken and serve with mango relish
