Lemon Herb Green Beans

This simple yet sophisticated side has that "je ne sais quoi" from Club House herbs and fresh lemon zest.

All You Need

  • 1 1/2 lbs (750 g) fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) butter
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) Club House Basil Leaves
  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL) Club House Oregano Leaves
  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL) grated lemon rind


  1. In large saucepan of boiling water, cook beans until tender-crisp, about 7 minutes. Drain well and return to saucepan.

  2. Add butter, basil, oregano and lemon peel and toss to coat. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

  3. Tip – Replace green beans with 1½ lb (750 g) trimmed asparagus.
