Tex Mex Burger

All You Need

  • 1 lb (500 g) lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) diced onion
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) smoky BBQ sauce
  • 3 tbsp (45 mL) each Club House Tex Mex Signature Blend and dry bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) jalapeno Monterey jack cheese, cut into 4 pieces


  1. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except cheese.

  2. Divide mixture into 4 and form each burger around a piece of cheese.

  3. Broil, panfry or grill burger to 160°F (71°C) and finish with your choice of burger toppings
