All You Need
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) pork sausage (casing removed)
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) each diced onion, celery, red and green bell peppers
- 3 tbsp (45 mL) Club House Cajun Signature Blend
- 1 can (19 oz/ 540 mL) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 1/2 cups (375 mL) water
- 1 cup (250 mL) basmati rice
In large skillet, over medium-high heat, add oil, vegetables and sausage. Sauté 2 minutes.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low. Simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until rice is tender.
