Smokehouse Maple Corn Bread

All You Need

  • 3 cups (750 mL) all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup (250 mL) cornmeal
  • 1/3 cup (75 mL) sugar
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp (1 mL) salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup (250 mL) milk
  • 5 tbsp (75 mL) Club House La Grille Smokehouse Maple Rub Marinade
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) melted butter

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine all dry ingredients and sift through a flour sifter.

  2. In a separate bowl combine all wet ingredients, except melted butter.

  3. Add wet ingredients to dry and mix well to combine. Add melted butter and mix well.

  4. Pour mixture into to 8 x 8-in (20 x 20 cm) greased baking pan and bake in a preheated 375°F (190°C) oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
