Shrimp with Creamy Wild Mushroom Sauce

All You Need

  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) olive oil
  • 1/4 cup (62 1/2 mL) chopped onion
  • 1 cup (250 mL) sliced cremini mushrooms
  • 1 cup (250 mL) sliced shiitake mushrooms
  • 1 cup (250 mL) sliced oyster mushrooms
  • 1 lb (500 g) raw shrimp, peeled and deveined (16-20 count)
  • package (30 g) Club House Creamy Parmesan Chicken Penne Flavourful Recipe Mix
  • 1 cup (250 mL) Kitchen Basics No Salt Added Chicken Cooking Stock
  • 1 cup (250 mL) water
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) whipping (35%) cream

Instructions

  1. In a large heavy skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sauté onion until lightly softened.

  2. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

  3. Add shrimp, Club House Creamy Parmesan Chicken Penne Flavourful Recipe Mix, chicken stock and water. Cook until liquid is reduced by half.

  4. Stir in cream and cook until slightly thickened.
