All You Need
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) olive oil
- 1 cup (250 mL) chopped Spanish onion
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) tomato paste
- 1 container (110 g) Club House Regular Seasoning for Spaghetti Sauce
- 6 cups (1 1/2 L) fresh diced Roma tomatoes, seeds removed
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) capers
- 1 cup (250 mL) pitted black olives
In a large pot, heat olive oil and sauté onion for 2 minutes.
Add tomato paste and seasoning; sauté for 1 minute.
Add diced tomatoes; cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
Add capers and black olives; simmer for another 5 minutes before serving over your favourite pasta.
