Mexican Style Tomato Sauce

Add some Mexican flair to dinner with this hot 'n' spicy tomato sauce. Great served with your favourite pasta and Tex Mex Meatballs.

All You Need

  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) olive oil
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) each chopped onion, celery and green bell pepper
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) Club House Prepared Minced Garlic
  • 28 fl oz (840 mL) diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) water
  • 1 package (32 g) Club House Hot’n Spicy Chili Seasoning Mix


  1. In large saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion, celery, bell pepper and garlic and sauté 5 minutes.

  2. Stir in tomatoes, water and Hot’n Spicy Chili Seasoning Mix.

  3. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  4. Serve over your favourite pasta and top with 5 Tex Mex Meatballs.
