La Grille Philly Style Steak Sandwich

All You Need

  • 12 oz (340 g) beef steak, trimmed
  • 5 tbsp (75 mL) Club House La Grille* Roasted Garlic & Pepper Rub marinade
  • 1 large onion, sliced and sautéed in 1 tsp olive oil
  • 4 sandwich buns, sliced and grilled
  • 4 slices Havarti cheese


  1. Spoon and rub marinade onto both sides of steak.

  2. Let rest 5 minutes for flavours to develop; grill to desired doneness.

  3. Slice thinly, on the diagonal and divide slices between the 4 sandwich buns.

  4. Divide the sautéed onions between the 4 sandwiches.

  5. Cover with a slice of Havarti cheese.
