Herbes de Provence Focaccia Bread

All You Need

  • 4 cups (1000 mL) all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsps (10 mL) white sugar
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) instant yeast
  • package (28 g) Club House Herbes de Provence Roasted Chicken Flavourful Recipe Mix, divided
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) vegetable oil
  • 2 cups (500 mL) water
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, yeast and 2/3 package Club House Herbes de Provence Roasted Chicken Flavourful Recipe Mix.

  2. In a small bowl, mix in the vegetable oil and water. Add to dry ingredients. Combine and knead until smooth and elastic.

  3. Lightly oil a large bowl, place the dough in the bowl, and turn to coat with oil. Cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm place for 20 minutes.

  4. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

  5. Punch dough down and place on greased 13 x 9 in (33 x 22 cm) baking sheet. Brush dough with olive oil and sprinkle dough with the remaining Club House Herbes de Provence Roasted Chicken Flavourful Recipe Mix.

  6. Bake 20 to 25 minutes. Cool before slicing.

  7. Tip: Bread tastes delicious toasted. Use for sandwiches, bruschetta or croutons.
