Garlic Plus Mussels

An elegant and fragrant preparation of delicious mussels — that comes together in no time at all. Serve as they are, or on a bed of fresh linguine.

All You Need

  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup (250 mL) each julienne onions, red bell pepper and carrot
  • 2 lbs (1 kg) fresh mussels
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) each diced tomato and white wine
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) Club House Garlic Plus Signature Blend
  • 1/2 juice of ½ lemon


  1. In large skillet, over medium heat, add butter and vegetables. Sauté for 2 minutes.

  2. Increase heat to high. Add mussels, tomato, wine, seasoning and lemon juice. Cover.

  3. Bring to a boil and simmer until mussels open, 2 -3 minutes.

  4. Serve immediately.
