Garlic Herb Loaf

All You Need

  • 1/3 cup (82 1/2 mL) butter, softened
  • 3 tbsp (45 mL) Club House Garlic Plus Signature Blend
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) lemon juice
  • 1 Italian loaf, about 12 inches (27 cm)

Instructions

  1. Combine butter, Club House Garlic Plus Signature Blend and lemon juice. Let stand 1 hour or overnight.

  2. Cut bread into 1/2 inch (1 cm) slices about three quarter through to bottom. Spread butter mixture on cut surfaces. Wrap loaf loosely in foil.

  3. Bake in preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 15 minutes. Open foil and bake 5 minutes longer to crisp crust.

  5. · You can prepare the butter mixture and refrigerate a few days ahead. Let it soften slightly for easy spreading.

  6. · You can butter the loaf early in the day ready to bake when needed.
