Chocolate Ganache Frosting

If eating this chocolate frosting right out of the bowl is wrong, then we don’t want to be right. It’s great for cakes and cupcakes too!

All You Need

  • 1 1/4 cups (312 1/2 mL) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup (250 mL) whipping (35%) cream
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) Club House Pure Vanilla Extract


  1. Bring cream to a boil over medium-low heat in a small saucepan, until bubbles begin to form around the edges. Pour over chocolate chips in a medium bowl. Let stand 10 minutes at room temperature. Stir until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth and glossy. Refrigerate until thick and spreadable, about 1.5 hours, stirring every 15 minutes.
