Chicken & Potato Casserole

Layers of thinly sliced potatoes and juicy seasoned ground chicken make for a comfort meal the whole family will devour.

All You Need

  • 1 lb (500 g) ground chicken
  • 1 cup (250 mL) each finely chopped carrots and onion
  • 2 cups (500 mL) water
  • 1 package (47 g) Club House Shepherd’s Pie Seasoning Mix
  • 4 small potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) Club House Paprika


  1. In large skillet, brown ground chicken, carrot and onion.

  2. Stir in water and Shepherd’s Pie Seasoning. Bring to a boil.

  3. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.

  4. In a lightly greased 2 qt (2 L) casserole dish, place 1/3 of the thinly sliced potatoes on the bottom, making sure the bottom is completely covered.

  5. Top with half the chicken mixture.

  6. Repeat step 4. Finish with the top layer being potato. Sprinkle with paprika.

  7. Cover and bake at 400°F (200ºC) for 25 minutes or until potatoes are soft.
