Chicken & Fig Skewers

Sweet figs are a great complement to the classic spice of Montreal Chicken. A great option for entertaining but easy enough for a weeknight.

All You Need

  • 4 tbsp (60 mL) Club House La Grille Montreal Chicken Rub Marinade
  • 1 lb (500 g) boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 16 cubes
  • 1 large green bell pepper, cut into 16 pieces
  • 16 dried figs
  • 4 wooden skewers, presoaked


  1. In shallow dish, rub marinade over chicken pieces. Marinate for 1 hour in refrigerator.

  2. Assemble skewers in the following order: green pepper, fig, chicken and repeat 3 more times for each skewer.

  3. Grill skewers over medium–high heat for 3 minutes per side or until chicken reaches internal temperature of minimum 165°F (74°C).
