Basic Chili

A family favourite that comes together in a snap, with minimal fuss. Serve alongside cornbread for an especially hungry crowd!

All You Need

  • 1 lb (500 g) lean ground beef
  • 7 1/2 fl oz (225 mL) tomato sauce
  • 19 fl oz (570 mL) red kidney beans
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) vinegar
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) Club House Chili Powder
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) Club House Minced Onion
  • 1/4 tsp (1 1/4 mL) Club House Garlic Salt


  1. In large skillet, brown lean ground beef. Drain off fat.

  2. Add tomato sauce, red kidney beans, vinegar, Club House Chili Powder, Minced Onion and Garlic Salt.

  3. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

  4. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
