Barbecued Spareribs

Honey-sweetened spareribs take on another dimension with Club House La Grille Montreal Steak Spice.  Messy, sticky and absolutely delicious, don't skimp on the napkins!

All You Need

  • 2 lbs (1000 g) spareribs
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) Club House La Grille* Montreal Steak Spice
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) Club House Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) ketchup
  • 1/4 cup (62 1/2 mL) billy bee honey
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) water


  1. Place ribs in large saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 30 to 45 minutes, until tender. Drain and discard liquid.

  2. Meanwhile, in small bowl, combine remaining ingredients to make sauce.

  3. Place ribs in lightly greased shallow baking dish and cover with sauce.

  4. Bake in 350°F (180°C) oven for 30 minutes.
