Vanilla Brie Sauce for Fruit

Gooey, rich brie cheese is given the sweet treatment in this luscious sauce for fruit. Serve with your favourite prepared fruit pieces — we suggest strawberries, cherries, peaches and pears.

All You Need

  • 8 oz (226 g) brie cheese
  • 1 cup (250 mL) 35% cream
  • 4 tsps (20 mL) sugar
  • 1/8 tsp (5/8 mL) ground cardamom
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) Club House Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 tsp (1 1/4 mL) Club House Pure Orange Extract


  1. Trim rind from brie and cut into cubes. Allow cheese to soften at room temperature. Set aside.

  2. Meanwhile, place cream, sugar and cardamom in top of double boiler over (not in) simmering water. Heat, stirring, just until sugar has dissolved.

  3. Add reserved brie and melt very slowly, stirring gently until smooth and creamy. Remove from heat. Gently stir in Club House Pure Vanilla Extract and Club House Pure Orange Extract.

  4. Drizzle hot sauce over chilled fruit, such as, strawberries, cherries, sliced peaches and pears. Serve immediately.
