Cinnamon Trail Mix

A sinfully delicious snack mix with sweetly seasoned cereal, almonds, pretzels and more!

All You Need

  • 3 cups (750 mL) toasted oat cereal
  • 3 cups (750 mL) wheat square cereal
  • 2 cups (500 mL) whole almonds
  • 2 cups (500 mL) mini pretzels
  • ½ cup (125 mL) butter
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) packed brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) Club House Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) Club House Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp (1/2 mL) Club House Ground Nutmeg
  • 1 cup (250 mL) dried cranberries

Instructions

  1. Mix cereals, almonds and pretzels in large microwaveable bowl. Set aside. Microwave butter in small microwavable bowl on high 40 seconds or until melted. Stir in brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. Pour over cereal mixture; toss to coat evenly.

  2. Microwave, uncovered, on high for 5 minutes or until cereal is crisp, stirring every 2 minutes. Stir in cranberries. Spread trail mix on foil-lined baking sheet. Let stand until cooled to room temperature. Store in airtight container.
