Steakhouse Onion Lamb and Mint Burger

All You Need

  • 1 lb (500 g) ground lamb
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) Club House La Grille Steakhouse Onion Burger Seasoning
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) panko bread crumbs
  • 1 1/2 tsps (7 mL) McCormick Gourmet Mint leaves
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) prepared hummus
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 16 slices cucumber
  • 8 slices tomato
  • 1 cup (250 mL) shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) sliced red onion

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine lamb, seasoning, bread crumbs and mint leaves. Mix well and form into 4 equal patties.

  2. Grill on medium-high until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C), about 10 minutes.

  3. To assemble burger, spread ½ tbsp (7 mL) hummus onto heel and crown of bun. Add 4 slices of cucumber, a cooked lamb patty, 2 tomato slices, lettuce and 2 tbsp (30 mL) red onion. Top with crown of bun to serve.
