Montreal Steak Marinade

With just three ingredients, preparing this Montreal-style marinade couldn’t get any easier. It’s a great way to add depth and flavour to any steak.

All You Need

  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) olive oil
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) Club House La Grille* Montreal Steak Spice
  • 1 lb (500 g) beef steak


  1. Combine oil, soy sauce and Club House La Grille Montreal Steak Spice in a large self-closing plastic bag or glass dish. Add steak. Marinate in refrigerator for a minimum of 1 hour. Remove steak from marinade; discard marinade. Preheat grill or broiler. Grill steak to desired doneness.

  2. Variations: Use marinade with pork, chicken, turkey or lamb. Also use with cubes of meat, poultry or vegetables for kabobs.
