All You Need

  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) Club House Roasted Garlic and Peppers Wet Rub, divided
  • 2 bone-in centre-cut pork chops (about 600 g)
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) Canola oil
  • 2 firm ripe peaches, halved and pitted
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) Billy Bee Honey
  • 4 green onions

  1. Combine 3 tbsp (45 mL) of the wet rub and the oil in shallow dish. Add chops, turning to coat. Let marinate 20 minutes.

  2. Preheat barbecue to medium-high and oil grill. Remove pork from marinade, shaking off excess marinade. Grill, turning, until juices run clear when pork is pierced and just a hint of pink remains inside, 8-10 minutes. Brush remaining 1 tbsp (15 mL) of the wet rub the last minute of cooking.

  3. Meanwhile grill peaches cut side down until softened and grill marked, 2-3 minutes. Drizzle cut side with honey. Grill onions without oil, turning until slightly charred, 30-60 seconds. Roughly chop or leave whole.

  4. Serve pork whole or let rest 5 minutes and thinly slice and serve with peaches and onions.

  5. Tip: Choose slightly firm, fragrant peaches to easily halve, twist and pit.

  6. Tip: Double the fun! Grill extra peaches and serve with vanilla ice-cream or Greek yogurt for an easy, elegant dessert.

  7. Tip: Swap out peaches for thick sliced pineapple or make it a delish duo of peaches and pineapple with grilled pork.
