Easy Steak Salad Dinner

The perfect dinner for salad lovers, this dish combines the great taste of a well-grilled steak with crisp, refreshing greens and sliced mushrooms.

All You Need

  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) Club House La Grille* Montreal Steak Spice
  • 1 lb (500 g) beef steak, trimmed
  • 6 cups (1500 mL) salad greens
  • 2 cups (500 mL) sliced mushrooms
  • 0 oil and vinegar dressing**


  1. Rub Club House La Grille Montreal Steak Spice on both sides of sirloin steak. Let stand 5 minutes.

  2. In the meantime, toss salad greens and sliced mushrooms. Divide among 4 plates and set aside.

  3. Grill or broil steak to desired doneness. Thinly slice and place over tossed salad greens.

  4. Sprinkle each salad with approximately 1 tbsp (15 mL) oil and vinegar dressing. Serve immediately.

  5. **Dressing: Combine 3 tbsp (45 mL) vegetable oil, 1 tbsp (15 mL) vinegar and 1/2 tsp (2 mL) prepared Dijon mustard until well blended.
