Granny Smith Apple and Honey Haroseth

Enjoy this honey-sweetened version of the traditional Seder condiment, featuring tart Granny Smith apples and warming spices.

All You Need

  • 1 cup (250 mL) each walnuts, dried apricots, dried figs, dried dates and raisins
  • 3/4 cup (175 mL) Manischewitz wine
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) 375 g Bee Billy Bee Honey for Passover
  • zest and juice of 1 lime and orange
  • 2 tsp (10 mL) Club House ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL) each: Club House ground cloves and Club House ground nutmeg
  • 2 cups (500 mL) diced Granny Smith apples


  1. Place all ingredients, except apples, into a food processor and pulse until coarsely chopped

  2. Remove to a large bowl and stir in apples. Mix until well combined.
