Cooking a good meal on a grill is something you can learn from a book. Cooking a great meal on a grill is something you can only learn from experience.

Grille Wisdom is gained through experience.   That’s why we’re celebrating our silver anniversary by sharing some of the best wisdom we’ve received – from you!

A perfect steak is a thing of beauty; it can bring a tear to a grown man’s eye, as our most passionate grill masters know well. Here are some  of Facebook fans top tips when grilling up this classic:

Corey C.

"I'm a believer in the quarter turn flip, so it touches each side four times. I find with timing and a sense for touch, I get the perfect steak every time. Grill should be hot, minimum 400°F (204°C), but you have to sear the steak first to trap in those juices and don’t close the lid or your timing will be off. Oil and lightly season, I rarely marinate a steak and am starting to get away from using a steak sauce while eating it. Appreciate the steak for what it is! I prefer cooking to medium."

Rob M.

"I usually cook mine on indirect heat for 8 to 9 minutes a side for near perfect medium to well done! At least that’s what my wife says when I cook her steak. I use Club House La Grille Montreal Steak Spice or Grille Limited Edition Fiery Habanero and Roasted Garlic Seasoning for mine."

James L.

"Get the grill hot 600 or more then turn it down to low and cook on the top rack. It might take a while but the rewards are well worth the wait. And cold beverages will assist in cooking time!"
