We’re sharing three ways to Give Flavour to your family, your friends and your community this season.
The holidays are a time to gather together and add new memories to old traditions. For many of us, it’s a time for re-connecting with our loved ones and giving back to our community. To help you bring the warmth of the holiday season to your family, friends and neighbours who may find themselves in need this season, we’re inspiring you to Give Flavour.
Give Flavour through your holiday meals
The festive season is a chance for us to show our family and friends love through our cooking and baking. While we all have our traditional recipes and old favourites, try introducing new flavours to your table this year. Check out our Give Flavour Hub to discover new ways to Give Flavour through one-of-a-kind holiday tricks, tips and recipes.
Give Flavour by volunteering in your community
Look for opportunities this season to help out in your community. The holidays are a busy time of year for all but there are many simple and time-sensitive ways to give back, such as donating to your local food bank, participating in a bake sale or purchasing a toy for someone in need. At McCormick Canada, our employees have proudly contributed sports equipment for youth to the London Salvation Army Holiday Drive and supported local families by participating in initiatives like the London Abused Women’s Centre Christmas Program.
Give Flavour with Likes
This holiday, McCormick Canada has teamed up with United Way Centraide to create opportunities for Canadians to help us Give Flavour. Starting November 9 until December 28, head to the Flavour.ca Facebook page to like our posts and help to donate up to $30,000 to feed communities across the country. For every 1,000 likes on Give Flavour posts, McCormick Canada will donate $5,000 to United Way Centraide programs such as holiday meal distribution, food hampers and community kitchens.
Let’s all do our part and work together to Give Flavour and bring the warmth and the flavours of the season to all.
